   Welcome to the 21th year of the Last Outpost!

   In keeping with the creedo that a successful thief is one who helps himself,
   the theives guild is providing swimming lessons.  Guild members say, "Why
   wait for our ship to come in when we can swim out to it?"  The city guards
   report that harbor patrols have been tightened.

   The thieves guild is providing formal training in the art of the dodge.

   Rumors that a 'fountain of youth' has been located are coming from western
   travelers.  It is said that the waters of a fountain that was said to have
   this property in ancient days are again flowing with rejuvenating magic.
