   Welcome to the 22nd year of the Last Outpost!

   The Shopkeeper's Guild has authorized trading in treasure maps. See the help
   scroll on 'treasure' for details.

   The Cleric's Guild has worked to improve the 'detect evil' spell.  It can
   now be used to detect both good and evil auras.  Leaders of the Church of
   Set adamantly deny accusations that the new spell is being used to identify
   rival factions, stating only that "We hope this will lead to fewer incidents
   of friendly-fire in our struggle to reclaim the land."  Despite many rumors,
   the Church has not taken a formal stand in favor of one side or the other.

   The HOTKEY command has been changed to support 'Start of Line Only' keys.
